The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) hosted Deborah Poynton's first museum exhibitions in the United States in its galleries in Savannah and Atlanta early in 2009. The publication features extensive reproductions of Poynton's paintings dating from 1998 through to 2008, along with essays by photographer David Goldblatt and SCAD curator Erin Dziedzic, and an interview with Poynton by Michael Stevenson.
