This special edition set brings together Deborah Poynton's monographs Pictures (2013) and Everything Matters (2009). The latter accompanied Poynton's first museum exhibitions in the United States, at the Savannah College of Art and Design's galleries in Savannah and Atlanta. The publication features extensive reproductions of Poynton's paintings dating from 1998 through to 2008, along with essays by photographer David Goldblatt and SCAD curator Erin Dziedzic, and an interview with Poynton by Michael Stevenson. Pictures picks up where Everything Matters left off, documenting Poynton's paintings from 2008 to 2013. Each body of work is introduced by a text written by the artist describing her approach to her work and underlying philosophy.
The special edition comprises two individually hardbound, linen-covered books in a linen slipcase with an original coloured pencil on paper sketch bound in.
